The success of Elizabeth’s program led to the formation of Skating Association for the Blind and Handicapped, Inc. After one year from the first lesson, this program becomes a Western New York State-based not-for-profit educational corporation, recognized as a therapeutic program that opens its door to all persons with disabilities. The program began with 20 volunteers.
